One day on sexual health through perimenopause and menopause, for pelvic physiotherapists, nurse practitioners, physicians, psychotherapists, dietitians, naturopaths and everyone else on the care team. Kept small on purpose. Sold out two years running. Now with a 2027 lens on how differently this chapter shows up for different people.

Why this room exists
Perimenopause and menopause change sexual health for almost every patient you see, and most of us learned about it in a single lecture, if at all. The Pleasure Principle is the one day a year where every discipline sits at the same table and learns it together: the evidence, the language, and the people to refer to.
Pleasure is a necessity, not a luxury. We treat it as real clinical practice.
The 2027 lens
Perimenopause and menopause do not arrive the same way for everyone. Race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression shape which symptoms people have, how they talk about them, how they respond to care, and how the healthcare system meets them. Too often, it meets them badly.
In 2027 the whole day is built around learning to see those differences and care for them well. You asked for a larger focus on menopause. Here it is, with the people who are usually left out of the conversation at its centre.
The same hormones. A very different experience. Care that finally accounts for both.

How the menopause transition presents across racial and cultural communities, and why standard screening misses so much of it.
Sexual health through perimenopause and menopause for trans men, non-binary and Two-Spirit people, and for lesbian, bisexual and queer people, and what affirming pelvic and primary care looks like.
Where care breaks down, what the research says about who gets heard, and the practical changes any clinician can make this month.
How the day runs
Attendees told us two things after 2026: keep the intimacy, and give us more ways to take part. So 2027 keeps everyone together for the morning, opens into streams after lunch, and weaves interactive moments through the whole day.

The keynote and the 2027 lens, heard together, so every discipline starts the day from the same place.
Pick the talks that fit your practice, then bring what you learned back to your table. Two streams, one shared closing.
Movement, embodiment and hands-on moments alongside the lectures, plus real time to meet the people you will refer to for years.
Draft format. The full program is announced in the new year.

The conference app
Every attendee gets The Pleasure Principle app on their phone. Introduced in 2026 and very well received, it is back for 2027 with the full program, your afternoon stream, and everything you need before, during and after.
Built for the room, not the inbox. Nothing to print, nothing to lose.

Who is in the room
Most continuing education puts one profession in a room and talks to it. We put the whole care team around one patient. It is the number one reason attendees refer each other, and it is why a colleague recommendation is how most people find us.
Tickets
Regular price is $325. The Super Early Bird price holds for the first 40 seats, then it is gone. The room is kept small on purpose and has sold out two years running. Every ticket includes breakfast, lunch, refreshments, the vendor marketplace and a certificate of attendance.
Speakers
Speakers are being confirmed now. Starting in December we reveal them one at a time, with a Hole Shebang episode where we can. Leave your email and you will hear each name the day it is announced.
Past speakers have included
2025 and 2026
Real practitioners, real connection, no stock photos. This is what two sold-out years looked like.

Bring a colleague
This is the room where you meet them. A colleague recommendation is how most of our attendees found us, and the clinicians who come together leave with a referral network they use for years.
Get two seatsQuestions
Healthcare providers who support women and people with vulvas through perimenopause and menopause: pelvic health physiotherapists, nurse practitioners, physicians, psychotherapists and sex therapists, registered dietitians, naturopathic doctors, occupational therapists, massage therapists, midwives, nurses and students in those fields. If you see these patients, this room is for you.
The day is written for healthcare providers and assumes a professional background. People who are curious to learn more are welcome to join us. Everyone else can find the same conversations in plain language on The Hole Shebang podcast.
Yes. Every attendee receives a certificate of attendance for the full day. The Pleasure Principle does not currently offer accredited continuing education credits.
